Description

BUSINESSMED is the main regional representative of the Private Sector that reflects the interest of 25 Confederations of Enterprises from States members of the Union for the Mediterranean - UfM.

Since its creation in 2002, BUSINESSMED (Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises) is a privileged platform for multilateral cooperation for the benefit of 23 the employers’ confederations and more than 1’200’000 public and private affiliated companies by promoting foreign direct investments and socio-economic integration in the region.

My role

I was digital communications manager at BUSINESSMED from May 2023 to June 2025, and I have continued to work with the organization as an independent consultant since then. My scope covers the organization’s websites and digital platforms, its servers, and its online communication.

What I delivered

  • Management and maintenance of the organization’s websites and project-related web content
  • Database administration, server monitoring and coordination with service providers
  • Email campaigns and newsletters using marketing automation tools
  • Social media management, content creation and e-reputation monitoring
  • Visibility reporting, impact analysis and training for partners on communication tools

BUSINESSMED coordinates or takes part in several EU-funded projects, so its communication has to serve both the institution and each project. Part of my role was to keep those messages consistent across the organization’s channels and the projects’ own platforms.
