Description

The Business Country Desk (BCD) is designed by BUSINESSMED and it is one of the key instruments implemented within the EBSOMED project.

It is a platform, an online, accessible and intuitive information service, designed to foster and support synergies, partnership and B2B opportunities between the main actors of the Euro-Mediterranean business ecosystem, to strengthen existing competitive advantages and build new ones in order to properly position the excellence of the Mediterranean economy.

My role

As digital communications manager at BUSINESSMED between May 2023 and June 2025, I worked on the Business Country Desk both as a website and as an operational tool. Beyond keeping the platform up to date, I provided technical coordination and support to the project team during B2B events organized online and on-site through BCDesk.eu and B2match.com.

What I delivered

  • Webmastering of the platform: content, updates and technical follow-up
  • Technical coordination of B2B matchmaking events for the Euro-Mediterranean business community
  • Community management and promotion of the service on BUSINESSMED’s channels
  • Contact collection, email campaigns and newsletters linked to the platform’s activities

This work combined communication and operations: the platform’s value depends on the quality of the connections it creates, so helping participants find their way during events mattered as much as publishing information.
