Businessmed (UMCE)
MED4WASTE (Mediterranean Dialogue for Waste Management Governance) is an EU-funded project, under the ENI-CBC Med Programme,To facilitate new governance models for integrated & efficient urban waste management (WM) policies across the Mediterranean, with particular emphasis on organic waste & circular economy (CE).
My role
BUSINESSMED took part in MED4WASTE, and I contributed to the project through the organization’s communication team, where I was digital communications manager between 2023 and 2025.
Waste management and the circular economy concern public authorities and companies alike. My work consisted of bringing the project’s messages to the private sector through BUSINESSMED’s channels.
What I delivered
- Publication of project news, events and results on BUSINESSMED’s website
- Social media content on circular economy and organic waste topics
- Relays to BUSINESSMED’s network through newsletters and email campaigns
- Visibility reporting for the partnership
Translating policy and governance topics into clear messages for business audiences was the core challenge of this communication.
